In 1981 Maryland became home to Georgeanna Garceau when her husband Scott was relocated to Baltimore to become sportscaster for Channel 2 news. In 1986 she decided to pursue a career in real estate and became a licensed agent of Magill-Yerman’s Better Homes & Gardens. Georgeanna’s energy and drive earned her success from the get-go; during her first year at Better Homes and Gardens Georgeanna was #1 in company sales. From 1986 to date, she has been in the top 1% of industry producers nationwide.
In 2007 Georgeanna obtained her Associate Brokers license. After 23 years, she partnered up with Maryland’s top producers to open their own brokerage. In 2008 Georgeanna became a licensed broker and opened an independent brokerage under the name of Garceau Realty. Garceau Realty currently operates out of its offices on Main Street in Bel Air and on Canton Square in Baltimore City.
As far as credentials, Georgeanna is a member of the Chairman Circle (lifetime member), Legends Award, the Lead Edge Society, and the Million Dollar Association. Over the course of her career, she has established working relationships with numerous builders including Landmark Homes/Maryland Landmark Homes, Lin Mar Homes, Stapf Homes, and RHK. Despite her commitment to her career, she still finds time to play an active role in her community. Georgeanna’s volunteer background has included committee participation and fundraising for Facets Boys Home, The ARC, Youth Benefit’s Advisory Committee, Cystic Fibrosis, The Alliance for Lupus Research, YMCA Senior Daycare, St. John’s Catholic Church, St. Vincent’s Boys Home, and Loyola College.
Most importantly, Georgeanna Garceau has served home buyers and sellers in Baltimore, Harford and Cecil Counties for over 22 years.
